7 litres, 10 modes and smartphone control

Xiaomi is bringing its new 7-litre Mijia Smart Steam Air Fryer to global markets. The appliance combines several cooking methods in one unit: hot air, steam and even a mode designed to replicate sous-vide cooking.

The new model offers 10 operating modes, including steaming, drying, fermentation, defrosting and reheating. Its integrated 1.5-litre water tank enables functions similar to sous vide without requiring separate equipment. The temperature range runs from 40 to 230°C, while steam mode reaches up to 130°C, speeding up cooking compared with conventional steamers.

A hybrid setting that combines hot air with steam is also available. It keeps food moist on the inside while creating a crisp outer layer.

Xiaomi Home and voice control

The appliance supports HyperOS Connect, allowing it to be controlled through the Xiaomi Home app and to receive voice commands via Google Home.
